Responsible Gaming
Introduction
Gambling should be a form of entertainment, not a way to earn money or solve financial problems. It is important to gamble responsibly, set limits, and view any money spent as the cost of your leisure time. Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose, and never chase losses in an attempt to win back what you have lost.
Age Verification
You must be 18 years or older (or the legal gambling age in your state or territory within India) to participate in any gambling activity. It is illegal for minors to gamble. We strongly encourage parents and guardians to use filtering software to prevent underage access to gambling websites.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
Problem gambling can affect anyone. If you or someone you know shows several of the following signs, it may indicate a gambling problem:
- Chasing losses – gambling more to try to win back money already lost.
- Hiding gambling activity from family or friends.
- Lying about how much time or money is spent on gambling.
- Spending more money than you can afford, or borrowing money to gamble.
- Neglecting work, studies, or family responsibilities because of gambling.
- Using gambling as a way to escape from stress, anxiety, or depression.
- Feeling restless or irritable when trying to cut down or stop gambling.
- Experiencing guilt, shame, or regret after gambling.
- Gambling until your last rupee is gone.
- Repeatedly trying to stop or control gambling without success.
Self-Help Tools
Many responsible gambling platforms provide tools to help you stay in control. While availability varies by operator, common tools include:
- Deposit Limits: Set a maximum amount you can deposit daily, weekly, or monthly.
- Loss Limits: Cap the amount you are willing to lose over a specific period.
- Reality Checks: Receive on-screen reminders of how long you have been playing and how much you have spent.
- Time-Outs: Take a short break from gambling for a set period (e.g., 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days).
- Self-Exclusion: Exclude yourself from gambling platforms for a longer period, often 6 months to 5 years, or permanently.
We encourage you to use these tools proactively. If your current operator does not offer them, consider switching to one that does.
